Foxes have reformulated there biscuits and taken out the gelatine and carmine out of the party rings, party fairytales and party footballs.

Thank you for your email regarding Party Rings.
We can confirm that we do not use any animal derived ingredients to make any of the Party Iced products that state suitable for ‘Vegetarians’
The Party Footballs and the Party Fairytales are actually suitable for Vegetarians , however we cannot make this claim on the packs yet as they are being made on a line that used gelatine when it was being used in the Party products as a whole. The packaging will reflect its ‘Vegetarian’ status once the packaging has been used. The standard Party Rings will be gelatine free in the very near future but please be aware there will still be some product on the Supermarket shelves that were made before the change.
The Chocolate Rings do still contain some animal derived colourants.
These products are manufactured on the same production line which uses dairy ingredients and also we use brushes with animal bristles and our conveyor belts contain wool fibres.

    1. Thanks for letting me know. I have mentioned this in the cracker article that they all contain honey, but the oatcakes apart from cheese are ok. I think the biscuits are all still ok though. Thanks

  7. Hi, I recently contacted Fox's to ask if any of their products are vegan friendly and they said no. Here is the response:
'We do not produce any products, which are suitable for vegans. All our products are made in factories which use dairy ingredients and we also use brushes with animal bristles and conveyor web with wool fibres.'

    1. As with most companies, they usually say no vegan items because of the may contain traces of milk, once explained to them, they say they do, but may contain traces of milk and or eggs. Its nice of them to be upfront about the factory brushes, I guess most will use something similar, but we are just not made aware. As you will see I had put this in the article anyway, incase anyone chose to not buy from them.

  8. I can't believe all of these are vegan! There is some serious misconception about Vegan's not being able to eat many things

  10. Hi all do check out Ikea too as a lot of their biscuits (and dark choc) seems to be accidentally vegan. Still waiting for their vegan meatballs! :-)

    1. Thanks for letting us know this. We don't live anywhere near an Ikea, but hopefully some of our followers will send in photos of these biscuits and chocolate to go in our articles. We rely so much on people sending photos as its would be more than a full time job to keep up with all the vegan goodies. The only ikea food product we have on our site is a bag of sour cream and onion flavour crisps. If you have any photos please feel free to share, just send to cholet.womblelena@facebook.com,so we can share them with our fans on here and facebook. Thanks Cholet

  11. This list is both great and terrifyingly tempting when ignorance has had me eating much healthier than I once did. A few extra biscuits won't hurt, right? :) Thanks again.
