  1. The stollen in my local isn't vegan :(

The Lebkuchen is though. Santa won't be the only one stuck in the chimney!

    1. Shame about the stollen, they do sell vegan and non vegan ones. There was even more choice last year, so I am hopeful they will bring out the luxury one again.

  2. No chocolate in Aldi is on their vegan list. I've just looked. The only 'confectionery' they have is mint stuff. :(

    1. Some one said their chocolate chips are but I don't think so
      Do you know ?

    2. They do have vegan chocolate chips from time to time. Not labelled vegan due to risk of cross contamination. It would just be a matter of checking as they don't have regular lines.

  3. You know what the funny thing is about ALDI?
Here in Germany, where they started as a company, they don't have anything useful. The only vegan friendly things are tofu-sausages, which are ALWAYS sold out. When I go there 20 times, they have them once.
And the other thing is Oreo, which is nothing ALDI-specific. This is soooooo sad. :'(

  4. Does anyone know why the frozen soya mince isn't on the list? Also they have dark chocolate orange covered rice cakes that looked ok, also not on the list but probably due to cross contamination risks.

    1. I don't know why the frozen soya mince isn't on there list, I believe it has been confirmed vegan however, but can't remember where I saw it. Chocolate items are not on vegan lists due to them being allergy lists, so don't contain any products with 'may contains'. I wasn't aware that they did own brand dark chocolate orange covered rice cakes, will have to look out for them. Thanks

  5. I think they're harvest moon, I found them in the cereal isle. Yeah I couldn't see anything in the soya mince ingredients that wouldn't make it vegan, I'll have to send them an email to check, it's really nice!! They have some cinnamon cereal in at the moment like cinnamon graham's which look fine for vegans, they're amazing as well, I've not bought nestle products for much longer than I've been vegan so I pretty excited!

    1. Do let us know what the reply it. I am sure it has been confirmed before, but it wasn't me that wrote to them. If the cinnamon cereal is something different to the apple and cinnamon crisp that we have in our cereal article, can you please supply a photo to add to the cereals article, thanks. Also one of the rice cakes if you get chance on your next visit would be great too. Thanks Sandra
